Before becoming a stay-at-home mom in 2002, I was running just as fast as everyone else in two full time jobs. We had a Collectibles/Art Gallery plus I was a registered nurse in a women’s clinic. Need less to say, I was a NEVER-AT-HOME MOM!!
BUT, God had another plan! He took a hold of my heart and opened my eyes to all I was losing at home. The very same week He closed the doors to our non-profitable retail business He led me out the door of my nursing J-O-B. My stressful, high activity routine came to a screeching halt. However, so did our off the farm income.
God has blessed us abundantly in rebuilding our family relationships as He has drawn us closer to Him as well. We are so thankful to have our precious Lord and Savior leading our lives. I finally had the time freedom to homeschool our daughter and enjoy working on the farm with my husband. Unfortunately the farming income now has a bottom line in the poverty level and the near future looks pretty grim with fuel and fertilizer prices climbing. We decided rather than going back into the job market, it was time for prayer and asking God for guidance. Our prayers brought us to an ad from a dear friend who was a member of the "Blessings Unlimited Team" After five informational calls, I could really hear the hearts of all the leaders in this group and knew we had found a business with the same integrity and values we wanted to uphold, with a team who would lovingly guide our footsteps to success.
